Ay-Kherel means ray of moonlight in the Tuvan language. The group was founded in 1994 by one of the most talented masters of overtone throat-singing Vladimir S. Soyan. The Ay-Kherel repertoire includes throat singing carried out in five styles: khoomei, kargyraa, sygyt, borbangnadyr and ezengileer. Booklet text in English, German, French and Spanish.
