Vitor Pereira Quintet - Doors

Vitor Pereira was born in Porto (Portugal) where initiated his musical studies in classical guitar and classical music.In 2004 he moved to London to study at Middlesex University where he finished a BA hons in Jazz. Since then, Vitor has been an active musician in the UK, Portugal and Europe playing alongside musicians such as James Allsop, Dave Smith, Andre Canniere, Will Collier, George Crowley or Asaf Sirkis to name a few.Doors is the debut album of this Quintet.Despite the obvious Jazz roots, this music unveils elements of a diverse range of aesthetics from Classical and World Music to the most experimental Rock.The strong character of the compositions, all written by Vitor Pereira is marked by the precious help of some of the best musicians in the London Jazz scene.
