Jezz Hall - Silhouette Man

A wonderful collection of new songs from exceptionally talented singer-songwriter Jezz Hall � recorded with a full band, 'Silhouette Man' represents his best work to date.Jezz Hall is a singer-songwriter, originally from Cambridge now living in Nottingham. A regular on the live circuit he's has supported the likes of KT Tunstall, Idlewild, Nick Harper, Jackie Leven, Martha Tilston and many more. He's performed as a guest with Show of Hands and Phil Beer and also as a duo with Deb Sandland.Recently Jezz has taken to the stage with a four-piece band featuring Nick Acons (fiddle, mandolin), Andy Hill (electric guitar, bass) and Tom Dempsey (percussion) with occasional appearances by Andy Whittle on piano. This highly talented line-up all appear on his new album Silhouette Man regarded by those in the know, as his finest set of recordings to date. Rooted in the folk singer-songwriter tradition, these arrangements stray into perhaps unexpected territories such as country blues and rock yet are grounded by the reassured performance and distinctive vocals of the man himself.
