A member of the F-IRE collective, he has been heard recently with his own Trio and Quartet, as well as with the Peter Wittingham-award-winning band, Porpoise Corpus.A prolific composer, his music for theater has been performed in New York , Czech Republic, Greece, and the Edinburgh Festival. Chris Vatalaro is an American drummer in London. He has been heard recently throughout the US and Europe with Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Elysian Fields, Matana Roberts, Adem, Ingrid Laubrock, the Mercury-nominated Basquiat Strings, and the Richard Fairhurst Trio.
