A powerful collection of historic recordings from Shirley & Dolly Collins. The recordings of Shirley Collins hold a pivotal place in the English folk song revival of the 1960s and '70s. Through an impressive handful of remarkable LPs - 'Folk Roots, New Routes' (with Davy Graham); 'Anthems In Eden'; 'Love, Death And The Lady'; 'No Roses' and 'For As Many As Will', Shirley always married a deep love of the songs handed down by rural labouring people with beautiful contemporary arrangements. Those recorded with Dolly Collins are especially treasured.
