The debut album by the young Sicilian singer-songwriter and percussionist Francesca Incudine, is inspired by the musical traditions and language of Sicily, the island where she was raised.
The songs are characterised by elegant and refined arrangements and the words express the urgency to communicate and the desire to tell to the world stories about life through the eyes of a young woman. Traditional instruments such as frame drums, accordion and bagpipe interact with classical guitars, clarinet and piano, creating a sound environment, soft and delicate, that surrounds and enhances the melodic lines.
