Unavantaluna - Isula Ranni

'Isula Ranni' by the Sicilian folk group Unavantaluna is a collection on two CDs of traditional and original pieces reflecting their roots in the landscape of the Mediterranean island and the influence of the sea.

The first CD, Ritta (right), is an anthology of traditional pieces reinvented by the group. The second CD, Manca (left), derives from the rich compositional imagination of Unavantaluna; eleven original tracks rooted in the Sicilian musical culture, but which look at a broader dimension.
