This 66 track compilation album of 4 discs spans Juan Martn's recording career from 1974 to 2015. From his early solo works on his first Decca albums and on to later solo albums, we follow how his compositions have developed and evolved. The recordings cover the great variety of his musical career working with artists from different styles including the flamenco tradition, jazz and new age, fusion, world music and the classical repertoire with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded at Abbey Road. Included are some examples of work with flamenco artists and his early exploration into rock fusion in his ground breaking album 'Picasso Portraits' recorded after playing at Picasso's 90th birthday celebrations. Some of his gentler compositions from 'Painter in Sound' and 'Through the Moving Window' working with jazz artists Mark Isham and Todd Cochran are included and his Alquimista album tracks recorded in Andalucia represent some of his later work with state of the flamenco. His 'Musica Alhambra' tracks explore the roots of flamenco touching on Sepharidic, Arabic and Indian influences with oud player Abdul Salam Kheir and the influence of South America on flamenco music is shown through his 'Camino Latino' tracks featuring Flora Purim and Airto Moreira. We finish with some guitar duet pieces from his 2015 album 'La Guitarra - Mi Vida' with Chaparro de Mlaga. This compilation album includes some of the recording highlights of Juan Martn's career.
