Impressive, addictive, gentle is the definition characterizing Gl�de's brand of passionate singer-songwriter pop, sensitively arranged and accompanied by a friendly gust of European folk rock.

Raised on Denmark's bleak shores, singer and frontman Simon Gl�de, from an early age, has been driven across the ever-present dunes by his own pop songs and his guitar. And thus it is no surprise that Simon's intense, velvety voice has that hint of sea-salt.

Listeners of Gl�de will be rewarded by excellent songwriting which will leave each and every one standing in an adrenaline storm of Danish peat bogs between the Arctic Circle and todays Pop-music. Gl�de, this is also the name of a band of salty dogs, all eventually shanghaied by songwriter Simon in the course of his long voyages. Today, they are all familiar faces of the Hamburg music scene - Max, Tom, Julian, Martin, and Simon - Gl�de are coming on strong. On September 1st, they will release their first and long-awaited album titled � - an eminently stylish voyage between Pole and Pop. A concert celebrating that release will be held in the band's favorite hometown-venue - the Knust in Hamburg.
