The Tannahill Weavers - Alchemy

Scotland's finest, The Tannahill Weavers return with yet another potent mixture of traditional ballads and fiery instrumentals. As the title suggests, Alchemy features some adventurous experiments: the band has set an 18th Century Scottish poem to new music, and transformed an Asturian melody into a Scottish air with new lyrics. The bands signature combination of Highland bagpipes, guitar driven rhythms, fiddles, flutes and bouzouki has never sounded better.
