With the release of 'Ophelia's Arrival' and 'Minotauros', many listeners will gain access to an unfamiliar aspect of the career of the highly creative Ketil Bj�rnstad - his electronic ballet music from the 1980s presented here remastered on one set.
The eighties was the decade of the keyboard revolution, and through his ballet projects Bj�rnstad had an opportunity to collaborate with some of Norway's best sound designers and synthesizer programmers.
All the music was composed, arranged and performed by Ketil Bj�rnstad (Emulator, Korg, Moog, Yamaha and Fairlight keyboards), with Alf Emil, Eik Geir Langslet and Kjetil Bjerkestrand (keyboard and emultaor programming).
Ketil Bj�rnstad is one of Norway's most productive artists. He has an impressive list of achievements, and is a prizewinning author, musician and composer. So far he has managed to have around forty books published, and has released nearly sixty records in a variety of genres. His releases on ECM and Universal have earned him a growing international audience.
