A melting pot of styles and glorious songs, multi-instrumentalist Huw M�s debut album Os Mewn Swn (If in Sound) is an �infectious, irresistible slice of pop loveliness�.Huw M is Huw Meredydd Roberts, an artist who takes his craft seriously. Huw M�s initial inspiration comes from everyday things � the sock drawer, the smell of food in the kitchen, missing the train or a dripping tap. Huw said, �One of my favourite tracks is Y Dr�r Sy'n Dal y Sanau (The sock drawer), a track that deals with our habits and practices, things that are part of our daily routine, things we don�t even notice.� 2009 was a busy year for Huw M with numerous performances in festivals such as End of the Road in Dorset, SWN, Bang Bangor and the National Eisteddfod, amongst other gigs. Huw has also received an award for the 2009 Best Solo Artist in the Welsh music magazine Y Selar, and both the �Best Composer� and �Best Male Artist� in BBC Radio Cymru�s RAP Awards. Tracks; 1.
