What I wanted to do with Stereography, was to bring a couple of incredible singers to Europe, says Marike van Dijk, the Dutch-born saxophonist, composer and arranger behind this wild, beautiful and emotionally challenging cinematic chamber music, who has lived all over New York over the last few years. Marike van Dijk went all over the city in search of singers and songs, until she found Jeff Taylor and Katell Keineg. Both of these singers are also songwriters and highly praised, with credits from Iggy Pop via Trixie Whitley to Donny McCaslin or Mark Giuliana. Played by a rather large and really fantastic ensemble, this music will open your ears and your heart to a new musical world.The instrumentalists on this sophomore 'Stereography' - album (#1 was released in 2015) are an amazing bunch of very individualistic players.
