'Vengjeslag' is a homage to Norwegian village poets of Setesdal from the Norwegian folk music group Ugagn.

Ugagn is a group with a musical foundation in the traditional music of Setesdal. The group's homage to the village poets of this valley in southern Norway centres on a tradition that grew at the end of the 19th century and was closely related to folklore. With this as a mainstay, the band mixes elements of jazz, flamenco and singer songwriter tradition to create their own distinct sound. Employing the use of the emotional tone of flamenco guitar makes the band unique in the spectrum of Norwegian folk music.
