Rolf K�hn - Timeless Circle

The renowned German jazz clarinettist and saxophonist Rolf K�hn selects fourteen of his favourite tracks he recorded for Intuition in celebration of his 85th birthday. The tracks have all been remastered and feature leading jazz stars, including Michael Brecker, Ornette Coleman, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, Buddy DeFranco, Till Br�nner and his younger brother Joachim.

Rolf has been an active musician since the 1950s and has played with endless jazz greats, going back to his work as musical director for Benny Goodman in his youth. He has released records for numerous jazz labels since the 60s, including Vanguard Records, Brunswick Records, Intercord, Impulse! and MPS.
