Trio session from tenor saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi who's best-known from the time he spent as a member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

Among the many other artists that Bergonzi has performed and recorded with are John Abercrombie, Miroslaz Vitous, Roy Haynes, Charlie Mariano, Dave Holland, Jack DeJohnette, Paul Desmond, Gerry Mulligan and many others.

Bergonzi is not only a sought-after musician but also a respected teacher and professor at the New England Conservatory. Together with his two accompanists he creates a powerful and personal sound.
