Paul Kuhn - Swing 85 - Limited Edition Birthday Box

This limited edition two CD plus DVD set celebrates the 85th birthday of the veteran German jazz pianist and vocalist Paul Kuhn. It includes the full 'The L.A. Session' album, recorded at the legendary Capitol Studios with drummer Jeff Hamilton and bassist John Clayton. The second CD features recordings that Kuhn made between 1996 and 2011 with various musicians including Toots Thielemans, Till Bronner, Benny Bailey, Dusko Goykovich and Roberta Gambarini. The DVD captures Paul Kuhn with an octet and orchestra live at the B'Jazz Festival and also includes a bonus 37 minute documentary.
