Threeway (Steve Waterman, Ben Crosland & Steve Lodder) - Conversations

Leading Northern bassist and composer Ben Crosland combined with two of the UK's most important jazz musicians, pianist Steve Lodder and trumpeter Steve Waterman to create a new and distinctive group. Threeway explore the intimate and subtle possibilities of a group without drums. The interplay between the players generates a natural intensity and an acute sensitivity to dynamics. The variety of the original compositions, contributed by each group member, and the spectrum of different tone colours ensure a satisfying and well rounded performance.
