Tamara Tramell Peterson - Driving Me Wild (EP)

Something lost with the rise of the CD nearly 30 years ago was the EP. With this release we revive a format that many artists found to be a wonderful medium for presenting a punchy set of 4 songs. The music here is so contemporary though, at the same time we're looking forward.This is 'work in progress'. Tamara and songwriter/producer Steve Washington have been putting it together for a new album. But hearing these 4 tracks convinced us that a 'taster' would show that exciting things are going on in Dallas.Here's a glorious and confident mix of a determined pop sensibility, funk and deep, deep soul. Most of all it's a signal that good songwriting and production are not dead.A hot new team is determined not to break down musical barriers but simply to ignore them.
