This completes his important discography.Leroy Carr was a hugely influential and important early bluesman-he brought a musical and lyrical sophistication to the music that was very forward looking. Discs A and B here cover the last years of Leroy Carr's recording career. The third disc features the Bumble Bee Slim & Bill Gaither sides that were a stylistic 'follow on' to Leroy Carr and the last disc is titled Friends Of Leroy Carr and looks at his vast influence with a wide variety of later blues artists covering his superb songs.
