Blackfield - Live In NYC

Blackfield is the acclaimed collaboration between Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and Israeli artist Aviv Geffen. Formed after a meeting in 2000, the partnership blossomed into a cross-cultural collaboration. This live CD & DVD set was recorded at the Bowery Ballroom in New York in 2007 performing tracks from the critically acclaimed 'Blackfield' & 'Blackfield II' records. The DVD for the full concert is in 5.1 surround sound and also includes the bonus features of 3 video clips & a photo gallery.Kscope are presenting 'Live In NYC' as a digipak CD with a 4 page colour booklet Aviv Geffen's profile has continued to rise and Aviv has worked with legendary producers Tony Visconti and Trevor Horn, played live with U2 and Placebo, and has been a judge on the Israeli TV show, The Voice. Aviv contributed the writing and vocals on 'Blackfield IV', with Steven Wilson - who also mixed the album into stereo and 5.1 surround sound - adding guitar and vocal parts. Currently Steven Wilson is continuing the worldwide tour for his critically acclaimed solo album � 2015's 'Hand.Cannot.Erase.'
