Alex Welsh & His Band - Echoes Of Chicago

The Alex Welsh Band was one of the finest of the British Chicago styles bands and the natural choice for visiting American Jazz musicians (see Lake issues with Peanuts Hucko, Pee Wee Russell & Bud Freeman). This release comprises one of the most highly rated of the Welsh band albums. It has never been reissued before. Making up the CD is the added bonus of a previously unreleased set. As well as the regular Welsh band featuring Archie Semple, Roy Crimmins, Fred Hunt and Lennie Hastings the band is augmented by the highly respected tenor sax player, Danny Moss.
