This CD features Monty's own band of the 1960s and is the second in Lake's series of recordings by Allan Gilmour at the Dancing Slipper in Nottingham. The band includes Charlie Galbraith, another eminent figure of the British Jazz scene and also one of its most under-rated, trumpeter Ian Hunter-Randall. It's a good, lively, well recorded set with plenty of atmoshere.
