Various Artists - British Traditional Jazz At A Tangent Vol.1

This CD is intended to be the first of a series of supplements to our triple CD release BRITISH TRADITIONAL JAZZ - A POTTED HISTORY. The series will look at other things which were happening in the Traditional Jazz world. This first one looks at bands and musicians who 'broke the mould': bands which developed from straight Trad into Mainstream Jazz; Trad bands which played alongside Modern Jazz players. Most of the tracks have never been on CD before and several have never been issued anywhere before.
