Tia Fuller - Decisive Steps

After criss-crossing the globe with Beyonc� for two years, saxophonist and composer Tia Fuller turns the spotlight on herself with 'Decisive Steps', her excellent album for Mack Avenue.

Tia makes it her mission to translate emotion into sound; ensuring that even in those moments where words cannot articulate, feeling has a voice. 'Decisive Steps' draws influence from many genres - jazz, blues and gospel among them - to create an inspirational and unique sound of its own. Featuring drummer Kim Thompson; bassist Miriam Sullivan; Fuller's sister, Shamie Royston on piano and Fender Rhodes; with special guests trumpeter Sean Jones; bassist Christian McBride; vibraphonist Warren Wolf; and tap dancer Maurice Chestnut.
