Kakkmaddafakka have a huge and devoted fan base with over 160.000 Facebook followers and more than 30.000 subscribers on Youtube.
Hus was recorded by the band themselves in its entirety in an old Bergen mansion, the same that frontman Axel Vindenes has painted on the album's cover. Naming the record Hus, which means house in Norwegian was longtime collaborator and friend Erlend �ye's idea.
Having streamed their music over 50 million times is no small feat for a band that started off as a friend's friends project with a weird name in Bergen, Norway, but Kakkmaddafakka prove that with wits, personality and great songs, everything is possible.
