Rant - Rant

Four fiddles, a dash of Shetland, a drop of the Highlands, a handful of hypnotic harmonies. Rant: Scotland's chamber folk quartet. Lauren MacColl, Bethany & Jenna Reid, Sarah-Jane Summers. They use only their fiddles to weave a tapestry of textures, sounds and musical colour, drawing on material from old collections and their own compositions. Their name is a old Scots word for an energetic dance or it's tune, to make merry, or to frolic!
