Leftguster - Midnight Vibe

Close your eyes and think of a golden beach with the sea breeze softly caressing your face and the hot sun beating down on your skin; the scent of the Mediterranean Sea, and the slow sounds of the waves crashing on the shore � ultimate relaxation. On the wind, the sound of the music comes from a nearby beach bar. The sounds of exquisitely played pianos, groovy bass guitars and uplifting vocals; styles of nu jazz and broken beats, along with funky and soulful house drift over to you. The scene is set for the latest artist album from Seamless Recordings, the label synonymous with uber-cool sophisticated electronic music.For some time now Swedish producers Pete Gust and Lefthander have shared ideas and inspired each other in terms of music. Their influences are quite similar with a mutual passion for nu-jazz and funky/soulful deep house. On their own they have released music on labels such as Plastic City, Pesto, Duffnote and Ceremony with Peter scoring a big hit 2009 with Love In War that was a rework of singer/songwriter Rucyl�s original.To develop their music further, the two producers launched a new project called LeftGuster. The ambition with LeftGuster is to blend their individual styles into one trademark sound; whether it be down tempo nu-jazz and smooth deep house for relaxing times or up tempo joints for the clubs. The LeftGuster sound often includes collaborations with talented artists which adds that extra dynamism and diversity.On the Midnight vibe-album you'll hear lyrics from Clara Mendes, Pouyah, Caroline, James Gicho and Hinano.Clara Mendes, born in Bahia, Brazil now living in Stockholm spreads warmth and love with her exotic sound. She has recently worked together with Swedish producer Rasmus Faber.Pouyah is a Swedish up-and-coming drum and bass producer living in Oslo, Norway. He has previously worked with Lefthander on their track Breaking new ground which was signed to Richard Earnshaw�s label Duffnote.Caroline aka Cache Cache brings the project a jazzy, mature vibe and her talent can be heard on many different projects such as IOU together with Danish producer Robin Hannibal and also on current albums from Diesler, The Moleskins and Favorite Flava.James Gicho is definitely one of the most experienced and successful dance music writers and vocalists coming out of Sweden in the last 20 years. He was once one of the front men in the group Sound Factory and has worked with producers including Stonebridge, Rob Below & Vito Ingrosso and most recently with H�kan Lidbo
