Wolfgang Muthspiel - Vienna Naked

With 'Vienna Naked' the internationally acclaimed Austrian guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel has realised a long-held ambition - to join the ranks of singer-songwriters and record an album of songs entirely composed, performed and accompanied by himself.

Wolfgang Muthspiel has embarked upon a great musical challenge - to compose a song cycle that would feature only his guitar and voice. 'Vienna Naked' is the first album from this cycle. An album of sparsely arranged songs laid bare against Muthspiel's strong lead vocal, with the kind of lyrical twists and turns more usually associated with the coffee houses of the folk underground. It's deep, and it's very personal.
