Water & Wijn (Water & Wine) is a Belgian choir, eleven people strong, andprot�g� of Wannes van de Velde, Belgium�s most famous folk singer. It allstarted in the late 70�s as an amateur group, sitting around the table withwater and wine, singing joyously folk songs from the lowlands. Over theyears style and technique became better and better and the groupstarted to make a name as a musical outsider, slightly wayward and notfitting in any trend.
