Indeed for ages past the Amsterdam population has been characterised by a diverse mix of ethnic groups, cultures & languages.This tradition of cross-fertilization is kept alive by Mazzeltov, which blends contemporary musical styles and songs with klezmer. They can sound like a 1930s theater ensemble, an 1880s klezmer group, a 1950s jazzband-with-singer, a 1980s Turkish band, a 2000s musical orchestra!
