This is Rene Marie's fourth release for Maxjazz, and see's the exceptionally talented singer tackling far more personal issues than previously. She wrote nine of the eleven cuts featured, the two interlopers being the standard, 'Lover Man, O Where Can You Be' and The Beatles 'Hard Day's Night'.
