Geoff Keezer - Falling Up

Fresh from stints with Christian McBride and Gerard Presencer, pianist Geoffrey Keezer's latest album for Maxjazz is a varied selection containing all of Keezer's diverse influences, from rock to classical via jazz. Featuring many musicians from the UK (vocalist Claire Martin, Bassist Laurence Cottle and Sax player Tim Garland), this album takes in all points from Dinner Jazz to full-throttle contemporary playing to present a full picture of this rising star who first cut his jazz teeth playing with the last incarnation of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers.
