Patti Wicks - Love Locked Out

Patti Wicks is a singer and pianist in the tradition of Jeri Southern, Shirley Horn and Paolo Conte. Her throaty voice and subtle lyrical readings, blended with her contemplative piano work, movingly express the sensuality and complexity of love. This album is a selection of 14 rueful ballads, affectingly demonstrating Patti's conviction that jazz singing should communicate basic emotions.
