When not on the road touring with his own group, Malone is an integral member of bands led by Grammy Award-winning artists including bassist Ron Carter (as part of his Golden Stryker Trio with label-mate Mulgrew Miller), saxophonist Sonny Rollins and vocalist Dianne Reeves.
