The Roseline - Vast As Sky

The Roseline is centred around the songwriting and musical talents of Colin Halliburton. Whiskeytown's Stranger's Almanac and Lucinda Williams' Car Wheels on a Gravel Road changed his life having previously passed over country music.The Roseline was born in Kansas where the band recorded two full length albums - A Wall Behind It and Lust for Luster. The new album - Vast as Sky - recorded and mixed by Jim Greer (Foster The People, Galactic, Kid Beyond, Irma Thomas) and Wayne Skeen, conveys the arc of a relationship - starting with a saccharine sweet love song and ending in utter turmoil. It is by far the most personal, confessional and unashamedly sad record that Colin's ever made.
