Celebrating the 20th anniversary of its foundation the ensemble Amarcord Wien presents an album that also pays tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven�s 250th birthday. It combines arrangements of original works with compositions by Marcus Davy (a particular highlight: �Die Wut uber den verlorenen Rubel�), Georg Breinschmid and Sebastian Gurtler � all with the unmistakable Amarcord sound.As an alternative to redundant re-recordings of the original work, this album is a homage that could not be more personal.
