Omar Sosa - A New Life

A New Life is Omar Sosa's third solo piano outing, and is a set of 16 heartfelt piano improvisations recorded in a studio on the cliffs by the Pacific Ocean at Big Sur, California. Dedicated to his first child, the compositions revolve around themes of childbirth and renewal, with a contemplative mood throughout while retaining Sosa's sharp rhythmic sense. With plaudits still coming in for the Grammy-nominated Sentir from 2002, this follow-up album has been eagerly awaited by his legion of fans in the UK.
