Michel Sajrawy - Yathrib

Born and raised in Nazareth, Sajrawy is a furious guitarist, composer, producer and sound technician. His musical ambitions are to reconcile the jazz of western culture with the Makamat of the Arabic Middle East and Schoenberg's avant-garde. With a culturally and musically diverse quartet of drums, bass and oud, Sajrawy creates music that is electrifying, saturated with vibrating emotion and full to the brim with life.
