In the early years of the 20th century Jelly Roll Morton began to expand on the ragtime he had learnt in his youth and was already composing legendary numbers such as 'Jelly Roll Blues' and 'King Porter Stomp', amongst others, that would later be classified as Jazz once the new style found a name. Here we have all of Jelly Roll's best known songs, many of which would go on to change the face of modern music.
