Quartet Records and Atresm�sica present the score by Fernando Vel�zquez (Ocho apellidos vascos, The Last Days, Mama) for the comedy-drama Thi Mai, Rumbo a Vietnam, directed by Patricia Ferreira and starring Carmen Machi, Aitana S�nchez-Gij�n, Adriana Ozores and Dani Rovira.It is a story about Carmen, who after losing her daughter in a car accident, travels to Vietnam along with her two best friends to find Thi Mai, the child her daughter was supposed to adopt before passing away.Fernando Vel�zquez provides many diverse motifs, from a catchy tango to descriptive music and an emotive theme characteristic of his writing. Oriental flavor dominates the imaginatively orchestrated score. The composer conducts the Navarre Symphony Orchestra.
