Rough Guides kick off their 15th anniversary year with the launch of an innovative new range of two CD digi-paks, at the regular price.The Rough Guide to Afrobeat Revival is the first in the series and it features the funky African dance groove crafted by Nigeria's Fela Kuti with tracks by well-known contemporary artists such as Tony Allen, Seun Kuti and Antibalas as well as raw and up-and-coming talent. Founded by Venezuelan- American Ray Lugo and British trombonist Chris Morrow, the Afrobeat group embraces influences from Latin and Brazilian to funk, reggae and hip-hop.
