Stan Tracey Quartet - Senior Moment

British jazz legend, Stan Tracey CBE revisits his vast library of compositions with his regular trio, Andy Cleyndert on bass and Clark Tracey on drums, plus the highly talented saxophonist Simon Allen.

Stan Tracey releases the next in his series of brand new recordings on his own label. Recorded in April 2008, 'Senior Moment' is a contemporary retrospective of part of his vast library of compositions and includes for the first time The Grandad Suite in its entirety. He is joined by his regular longstanding trio of Andrew Cleyndert on bass and Clark Tracey on drums with the addition of the highly talented saxophonist Simon Allen, who also works in Tracey's Sextet, Octet and Orchestra.
