A 3-CD deluxe clambox set bringing together Peter Green's Splinter Group's two albums celebrating the songs of Robert Johnson with a disc of the best recordings by Johnson himself. Green's two discs are the WC Handy award-winning album 'Robert Johnson Songbook' from 1998 and 2000's 'Hot Foot Powder' on which the temperature is raised by guest appearances by some of the greatest living bluesmen including Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Dr John, the late great Hubert Sumlin, Honey Boy Edwards and Joe Louis Walker.
