Meic Stevens has been, without doubt, the major figure of Welsh popular music since the 1970s. He has composed a wealth of songs and performed them in his own inspired but erratic fashion for four decades, and he's still going strong. Through his live performances, his recordings and his compositions, Meic Stevens has inspired thousands of people, and inspired countless other singers and composers.
