A stunning debut album from the Ceredigion soprano with songs from various genres displaying her vocal versatility at its best. Featuring guest appearances by harpist Catrin Finch and Meibion Cordydd and a special duet with Bryn Terfel � Come what May- from the hit musical film Moulin Rouge. Gwawr was raised on a farm, in the heart of Ceredigion, West Wales. After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff she then went on to gain a first class Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London in 2009. Over the years Gwawr has gained numerous successes in countless competitions and recently came to the final of BBC Radio 2's Dame Kiri Te Kanawa prize in search for the next young opera star of the future. As well as a string of concerts and television appearances in the UK, including a performace at Wembley Stadium and with the All Angels, Gwawr has travelled to entertain audiences far and wide and here at home has twice shared the concert stage at the National Eisteddfod of Wales with Only Men Aloud and Rhydian Roberts.
