Terry Snyder & The All Stars - Persuasive Percussion

When first released, Persuasive Percussion was probably the first to put stereo discs on the map, bringing to light the startling and innovative musical aspects of stereo sound on records. Sepia Records combines both volume 1 and 2 of Persuasive Percussion on this CD release.The 1959 release - Persuasive Percussion sold half a million discs by 1961, thereafter averaging 150,000 sales per year, passing the million-mark by 1965. The disc with its stereo ping-pong effects was probably the grand daddy of what was later known as lounge music and considered a starter disc and must-have by stereo enthusiasts. Persuasive Percussion Volume 2 was issued in 1960 and we have combined both volume 1 and 2 onto this CD release with a total of 24 tracks.
