Connie Francis sings on this album prize-winning songs from the annual popular San Remo Festival, many of them smash hits including Al Di La and Quando, Quando, Quando. Also included are 15 bonus tracks, making it 27 tracks in total. All the tracks have been digitally re-mastered and many of them are appearing on CD for the first time.

The first 12 tracks were originally released in 1962 in an album titled Connie Francis Sings Modern Italian Hits with Connie singing contemporary Italian hits from between 1958 and 1962, several of them being entries to the renowned San Remo Festival. Most of the songs here are recorded by Connie in English/Italian. Included is the smash hit Al Di La, Connie's hits Jealous of You & Breakin' in a Brand New Brand Broken Heart, both performed in Italian, and Quando, Quando, Quando.
