Bing Crosby - Sings For The Armed Forces Radio Service

Bing Crosby, the biggest star in show business during WWII, appeared on a multitude of special radio programs for the Armed Forces Radio Service (AFRS) often singing songs he did not record commercially. This CD picks up a rare and varied selection of these performances and re-creates the atmosphere of those war time years. Crosby is joined on some numbers by Dinah Shore, Jimmy Durante and Judy Garland.
