Bobby Troup - Do Re Mi / Here's To My Lady

For the first time on CD are two classic Bobby Troup LPs - 'Do Re Mi' featuring Troup singing his own compositions such as Route 66, Daddy and Baby, Baby All The Time, and 'Here's to My Lady', an LP of standards including That's All, The Nearness of You and Julie is Her Name, a song Troup wrote for his wife Julie London.

The American actor, jazz pianist, singer and songwriter was best known for composing standards such as Route 66 and Daddy. He recorded for Liberty Records in the 1950s, many with noted musicians from the West Coast jazz scene.
